Sally Jeffcoat is president and CEO of four-hospital
St. Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho. In 2010, she spearheaded the integration of three former Catholic Health Initiatives hospitals in southwestern Idaho and eastern Oregon to create the system, part of Novi. Mich.-based Trinity Health. Inspired by her father who was an Army surgeon, Jeffcoat, 57, began her career as a staff nurse for medical-surgical units. Her nursing career led to healthcare administration. Prior to joining St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in 2009 as president and CEO, Jeffcoat was executive vice president and chief operating officer for healthcare operations at Ascension Health in St. Louis.
