Chimerix, a Research Triangle Park, N.C.-based biotechnology company that is developing novel oral antiviral therapeutics, has named Dr. Michelle Berrey chief medical officer.
Berry most recently served as CMO for Pharmasset, which was
acquired by Gilead Sciences this year, and is a former VP of viral diseases, clinical pharmacology and discovery medicine at GlaxoSmithKline, according to a
news release.
Her age was not immediately available.
