IPC the Hospitalist Co., North Hollywood, Calif., promoted Dr. Kerry Weiner to chief medical officer.
Weiner takes over the CMO responsibilities from Dr. Adam Singer, IPC's chairman and CEO, who will continue to serve at the helm of the company,
according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Weiner had served as
chief clinical officer since joining IPC in March 2011. Before that, he co-founded Lakeside Medical Group, a multispecialty practice, and was CMO of Lakeside Medical Organization, an IPA of about 700 physicians.
His age was not available at deadline.
