A key tenet of Modern Physician's editorial mission is to educate readers. To help carry out that educational mission, Modern Physician and Modern Physician Online publish guest commentaries on issues of interest to our readers written by physician business executives, business leaders, healthcare industry experts and others. Submissions should be about 1,000 words in length. Submitters must fully identify themselves, title, affiliation, organization and location. Submitters also must include a color photo of themselves with their submissions. Modern Physician does not pay for guest commentaries, and it reserves the right to approve, edit or reject submissions.
